I think I may have an allergy to snow. Ever since I looked out the window I've been sniffly and achy.
It has been suggested that it's all in my mind, but I refuse to accept that. I think the only remedy for these seasonal allergies is to move. My son in New Mexico has suggested we come down there. It's becoming more and more tempting every day!
The weather has put a real damper on my getting out to run. By damper I mean full stop. My husband will run in the snow, but not when they haven't cleared the streets. Our city is out of road salt, so that's not happening anytime soon. Our streets will be cleared when mother nature takes over and does for us.
I guess tonight I will find a way to get the manual treadmill upstairs. Because the incline is mandatory, it has to be on 8,10, or 12% incline. Sometimes that is disheartening because I don't want to only run uphill - but today I will just see it as an extra workout.
At least that's what I'm telling myself.
I need sunshine and blue skies.
will settle for coffee
